As a property manager, you will need to keep track of miles and hours for a variety of reasons, mostly tax-related. You also will find yourself making notes about when renters contact you and when repairs are made.
I used to have a separate notebook for each property, and made copious notes. As I added properties, this became unwieldy. Then one day it hit me: why not use a calendar? With abbreviations and symbols, lots of information can fit into each slot (for example, HD is Home Depot, and a street number tells me which property it is). It’s so handy for looking up information, without taking up much storage space.
